Let’s introduce these three processes that the A3 UV printer can achieve with soft ink one by one:
1. 3D UV label sticker Process
Print directly on UV silicone lettering film with soft UV ink.
Print white ink repeatedly to reach the desired height, then print in color—and a stunning 3D UV label sticker is done.
After that, use a die-cutting machine for contour cutting to get the pattern, and it’s ready to use.
When applying, peel off the pattern, place it on the clothing, and press with a heat press at 170°C for 15 seconds to finish the transfer.
The finished product not only has an outstanding 3D effect but is also super soft.
2. 3D Embroidery-Like Process
Print directly on 3D embroidery-like film with the UV printer. Since the printed image imported into the computer is designed to mimic embroidery,
the printed pattern also has an embroidery-like effect.
After printing, use a laminating machine to apply transfer film B at 60°C, and it’s ready to use.
When applying, cut out the pattern, peel off the base film, place it on the clothing, press only the patterned area with a cloth or towel at 120°C, then peel off the transfer film to finish the transfer.
Then re-press with a heat press at 150°C for 8-10 seconds. The cooled pattern is firm, resistant to pulling, has a realistic embroidery effect, and is washable.
3. Cold Transfer Soft UV DTF Film Sticker Process
Print on UV cold transfer film with soft UV ink, adding white ink, color ink, and varnish. After printing, apply transfer film B, and it’s ready to use.
The application method is similar to that of uv dtf film stickers: cut out the pattern, place the white side up, peel off the base film, stick it on the object,
scrape the patterned area, then peel off transfer film B to finish.
It can be transferred to leather, EVA slippers, canvas shoes, hats, etc., and is fold-resistant and washable—truly amazing!
Unlike transfer films printed by DTF printer, this cold transfer sticker doesn’t require complicated processes or high-temperature pressing; it can be transferred directly.
And unlike ordinary uv dtf film stickers, which can’t withstand rough folding, this one is printed with soft ink, making it highly fold-resistant.
It greatly expands the application range of uv dtf film stickers.
If you switch to hard UV ink, this multi-functional A3 UV printer can also have 5 other functions: flat material printing, flat gold stamping,
cylindrical printing, uv dtf film sticker printing, and a visual positioning function (available for an additional $1,000).
However, it’s worth noting that although switching inks adds 5 functions, frequent ink changes may damage the print head.
If you need both the three functions with UV soft ink and the five functions with UV hard ink, we recommend buying two printers for more convenience.
